Our Guides Tina and Craig. We've met many great Disney Cast Members through the years. These two are awesome standouts!!! Thanks to Craig for all of his tour guide info!!!!!! We know that it takes you a lot of time to compile all of this info. We appreciated this and we learned a lot!! Thank you also for teaching us new words. Lumbeleh is my favorite!!! Thank you to Tina for sharing that special night of the lion chase. That we will never forget!!!

Our Game Driver Frikkie. Thank You for taking us to all the animals and teaching us so much along the way!!!

My favorite day of the trip was Penguin Pursuits. It blew me away!!! Something about Table Mountain just does it for me. This is such a beautiful mountain!! Since reading about Cape Point in grade school I have always wanted to go there. The Gold in the champagne at Gold Museum was extra special cool!!! The face painting was icing on the cake!!!

My favorite shopping places were Out of Africa at the Waterfront in Cape Town and the shops at the Knysna Waterfront.

The most beautiful view out of our hotel window goes to the Knysna Protea Hotel. The view of the pier with Featherbed Reserve in the background is breathtaking!!!

The best hotel that we stayed at during our trip is the beautiful Kapama Lodge!!! This exceeded our expectations of what we thought a Safari Lodge would look like. The service was awesome!!! This truly is a five star hotel. The room was one of the best rooms that we have ever stayed in.

My favorite wine was a surprise to me. I do not particularly care for Sauvignon blanc. However the Sparkling Sauvignon blanc at Bramon Winery blew me away. It was so good!!

The Best Restaurant that we ate at while on our trip was JJ's in Knysna.

The Boma Bush Buffet Dinner was so special. This was something straight out of a storybook!!!

My Top Six Favorite Things that we did on the trip:
1. Table Mountain.
I just can not say enough about this mountain. The views from the top of this mountain are spectacular!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I want to go back!!!!!!!!

2. The Big Five!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's what we came to Africa to see. We loved the Safari!!!!!

3. The Cape of Good Hope!!

4. Knysna Featherbed Reserve. The views, oh the views, of the Indian Ocean!!! And touching the Indian Ocean was way cool too!!!

5. The Elephant Ride!!!!

6. The Food of South Africa. Bobotie is my favorite food. Malva Pudding is a close second!!!

I can not say per se that holding the snake was one of my favorite things. But I can say that conquering my fear of holding the snake is worth an honorable mention!!!

Thank You to our Adventure Family. We had a great time getting to know you all!!!

Thank you all for reading this blog and following our journey through South Africa with me. It was quite the ride!!!!
This blog is dedicated to my husband John. A big Thank You to him for getting me out of my comfort zone. I booked this trip as he had expressed interest in going. This trip certainly has positively affected the way that I view the world. We're essentially all family. The "big ponds" that divide our continents are not so big to me any more. I'm ready for our next Disney Adventure!!!
Kwaherini (Good Bye)!!!
